Omaraw is the name of a feast during the season of the flying fish. It happens twice. The first time is during the month of paneneb before the beginning of the flying fish season, where the entire village must go down to the sea for the ceremony of inviting fish, and then feast. The other is during the month of Papataw, a ceremony held before the little boats are sent out to catch flying fish, where a feast happens afterwards. This is a ceremony held by individuals or families.

[3] Minganangana是慰勞男性的節日,婦女們做芋糕及將數月前準備的山蟹, 煮後將肉挑起來給男人配芋糕吃。

Minganagana is a holiday to appreciate men’s hard work. Women will make taro cakes and prepared mountain crabs from months before. The meat is cooked then picked off for the men to eat with the taro cakes.
